The brief
A vector index over a corpus of contracts and regulations on top of a language model. The client's key requirement was not «answer cleverly» but «never invent»: every answer carries a citation to the source fragment, and when no relevant fragment exists the system says so plainly instead of producing a plausible fabrication.
